Located in the Nepean, Ontario this Pool deck had begun to show some weather damage. The homeowners were looking for a low maintenance solution that would refinish and protect the existing deck without the hassle of yearly staining maintenance.

With the guidance of Randal’s Paints in Nepean we choose to work with C2 Guard (Click here to learn more about C2 Guard). Most staining products require a yearly coat to maintain adequate protection,but C2 Guard offers deck protection for up to 6 years. The client choose Monterey cheddar as there finish.
Splinter free & barefoot ready
After the colour was choosen, the whole deck was pressure washed with a specialized power rotating knozzle. We then sanded down the entire deck to prepare it for stain and make the deck splinter free & barefoot ready. Finally we applied a double “wet on damp” coat to the pool deck to give it the look and protection needed.
This deck is now ready for years of fun around the pool !
