The home owners had a great idea what features they wanted for their deck. Jon of MyDeck.ca worked with the homeowner and came up a design to fit the home-owners vision and needs.
Low Maintenance- The home owners wanted to ensure that their deck was ready to use every spring with out any sanding or staining. It was very important that the composite was high quality and wore very well. Our recommendation was Trex composite as we find it to be one of the highest quality composites we have worked with. Brian & Cindalla chose a beautiful Trex Transcend spiced rum decking with a grey Trex composite for the boarder and transition pieces. For railings a classic aluminum railing was chosen to compliment the low maintenance composite.
Entertaining & BBQ’ing- By creating a separate platform for the BBQ it created easy access to the home’s kitchen as well as separated the cooking and eating areas of the deck. The BBQ has a custom gas hookup courtesy of Tierney Heating. A large entertaining area was created for guests to relax and connect
Enjoy the summer evening- The home owners wanted their deck to look great at night and provide a calming , relaxing atmosphere. Trex lighting was choosing to accentuate the stairs and BBQ area.
Brian and Cinderellas deck turned out great and other than the deck foundation taking a little longer than expected due to underlying bedrock, the deck went as scheduled!
