After year of weathering the clients deck was beginning to deteriorate and wanted to renovate.
Western cedar is both rot and insect resistant and it looks ,feels and smells great
The homeowners decided they wanted to stay with a natural product so decided on beautiful western cedar. Western cedar is both rot, insect resistant and it looks,feels and smells great.
After we removed the existing decking and inspected the framing, minor repairs were made and we installed the cedar decking in a framed boarder. Currently the deck has been left untreated to let the new cedar dry, but the client plans on applying C2 Guard low maintenance protection to the deck in the summer of 2017.
